In a solidarity action to help communities affected by the floods that devastated Rio Grande do Sul, Allog Group, in partnership with three other companies, is mobilizing the delivery of drinking water in flexitanks to the most affected regions. The initiative, unprecedented in the region, uses flexible containers, known as flexitanks, to transport large volumes of water in an efficient and sustainable way.

Each flexitank has a capacity for 24,000 liters of water, the equivalent of a 20-foot container. Rodrigo Portes, account manager at the Allog group, a company with extensive expertise in moving liquid cargo using this type of equipment, explains that the solution allows the transport of a significantly larger volume of water compared to traditional methods. This streamlines logistics and reduces costs.

Adapted potting system

To make the operation of drinking water in flexitanks viable, the water bottling system needed to be adapted. The idea of using flexitanks emerged in the Liquid Cargo Department of the Allog Group. This identified an opportunity in the solution to transport more water with less environmental impact.
